The title of the work, “Ab-Pari” from the collection of “Abchehragan,” delves into the mystical Iranian tales of water nymphs known as “Abchehr.” These ethereal beings are often portrayed sitting by a water jug, perched on the edge of a spring, or deep within a well or aqueduct, gazing at their reflection in the water, thereby becoming part of the legend. These water nymphs possess a deep intrinsic connection with water and are intertwined with the divine Anahita, the maiden of Iranian waters. This collection visually represents this profound and fruitful connection, blending the enchantment of water nymphs with symbols and signs of fairies, water, and Anahita, alongside the jewel of turquoise (known as “Firouzeh” in Persian), which symbolizes victory for Iranians. The green and blue hues of the turquoise represent the sky’s blue waters and the greenery of the earth, symbolizing triumph and the essence of victory for Iranians.
