My name is Helia Dashtaray. In 2012, I graduated in Literature and Italian Translator from the University of Tehran.
In 2013, I started working in marquetry art and In 2014 became familiar with papier-mâché art.
I am currently active in sculpture, paintings, and handmade accessories using papier-mâché / paper mache art.
My experiences in sculpture, marquetry, design, crochet, handmade paper making, thread and needle art, quilling, as well as origami from my childhood, have helped me in designing and creating accessories. I have endeavored to bring diversity to papier-mâché earrings, using fabric, printed paper, handmade paper, leather and gemstones…. Papier-mâché accessories, due to their paper material, have vibrant colors, are waterproof, and draw inspiration from the world of fashion and nature.
I’m glad that through paper recycling, I can contribute to environmental conservation. I hope to introduce more people to papier-mâché art through my students and my YouTube channel(helias_art)
I have two artistic brands: Helias_art for sculpture and home decor with papier-mâché, and Helia.dashtaray for handmade accessory making, including earrings, clutch bags, rings, necklaces, and bracelets.
هلیا دشت آرای هستم ، سال ۱۳۹۱ ، فارغ التحصیل ادبیات و مترجمی زبان ایتالیایی از دانشگاه تهران
🔵به عنوان یکی از طراحان فشن ایرانی در سال 1402/2024 در نخستین جلد از مجموعه کتاب های زنجیره ای طراحان فشن انستیتو سَفپِم معرفی شدم که به طور رسمی توسط انتشارات فرانسوی -انگلیسی استوریا منتشر شد که کتاب به صورت فیزیکی از طریق بستر آمازون در سراسر جهان قابل تهیه و در دسترس علاقه مندان می‌باشد
در سال ۱۳۹۲ ، مشغول به هنر معرق کاری شدم
در سال ۱۳۹۳ با هنر پاپیه ماشه آشنا شدم و همچنان در حال فعالیت هنری هستم . در زمینه مجسمه ، تابلوهای نقش برجسته و اکسسوری دستساز با هنر پاپیه ماشه فعالیت میکنم و تجربیات حاصل از مجسمه سازی ، معرق کاری ، طراحی ، قلاببافی ، ساخت کاغذ دستساز ، هنر نخ و میخ ، هنر کوییلینگ و همچنین هنر اوریگامی در دوران کودکی به من کمک کرد تا بتوانم در طراحی و ساخت اکسسوری ها استفاده کنم .سعی کردم با استفاده از پارچه ، کاغذ چاپی ، کاغذ دستساز ، چرم ، سنگهای زینتی….. به گوشواره های پاپیه ماشه تنوع بدهم و به دلیل سبک بودن پاپیه ماشه ، سایز گوشواره ها ، تاثیر چندانی بر روی وزن اکسسوری ها ندارد . اکسسوری های پاپیه ماشه به دلیل اینکه از جنس کاغذ هستند ، رنگ پذیری بسیار بالایی دارند و در نتیجه از نظر شاد و زنده بودن رنگها ،بهتر خودشان را نشان میدهند و در عین حال ضدآب هم هستند .رنگ‌آمیزی ها از دنیای مد و طبیعت الهام گرفته شده و همیشه سعی کردم هنر مدرن و هنر سنتی را ادغام کنم.
خوشحالم که با بازیافت کاغذ ،میتوانم نقشی در حفظ محیط زیست داشته باشم و با گسترش این هنر از طریق هنرجویان و کانال یوتیوب امیدوارم افراد بیشتری با هنر پاپیه ماشه آشنا شوند .
